Bel Art Gallery was founded by Beatrice and Stefan Schreiber, a lively husband-and-wife team who moved to Canada from Frankfurt, Germany, in 1995. They brought with them a large collection of art. The Schreibers settled in Deep Cove, North Vancouver, and brought their knowledge and love of art with them, establishing Bel Art Gallery in 1996. Today, they offer art consulting services, run workshops for children and adults, and showcase a wonderful variety of fine artwork at multiple locations. Work from local artists is featured in their gallery and showroom alongside the artworks they brought with them from Germany.
A Passion for Art
Stefan Schreiber was a banker by profession when he lived in Germany, but he has been closely involved in the art world for more than 35 years. He managed art shows and fairs, handled printing, and processed limited edition prints and postcards for artists. Beatrice Schreiber, a fashion designer by profession, is also extremely knowledgeable about art and passionate about introducing clients to new artists.
Together, they strive to educate the public about original art. They believe that everyone can enjoy all types of art, from abstract to realistic.
